About

OfflinePocket started as a shared note between two friends who kept losing their subway commute to loading screens. We wanted games that respected our time and worked in a tunnel, on a plane, in the middle of nowhere. So we began writing down what actually held up.,The idea is simple: we only cover games that run fully offline. No forced login walls, no daily connection checks. If a game needs the internet to open its main menu, it doesn't belong here.,Choosing what to review is mostly about play time. Someone on the team has to sit with a game for at least a few hours before we say anything about it. We look at controls, pacing, how it feels on a small screen and whether it still respects you after the tutorial ends.,We're independent and small. Nobody tells us what to write, and we keep it that way on purpose. If a game bored us, we say so, and if something surprised us we get a little too excited about it.
